Very positive experience. Our Leaf Specialist, Tony Cardinale had excellent knowledge of the car and was easy to talk to with no sales pressure. He also honored and even did better than prices quoted on TrueCar. Other then waiting over an hour for finance to start paperwork after we agreed to purchase, it was a pleasant experience. We will recommend Sunnyvale Nissan to others and purchase again.
I purchased a used 2010 Murano from Nissan Stevens Creek around 2013. I bought a warranty at the time, and was told the warranty was a silver type (not quite the best). My experience buying the car wasn't too bad, though the staff was a bit pushy. About a year later my AC totally gave out on one of the hottest days of the year. I called Stevens creek Nissan and started asking some questions. I basically wanted to know what I could expect in terms of my warranty covering the repairs. They absolutely refused (several people over several days, phone calls, and in person meetings) to tell me anything about what my warranty covered until I agreed to pay for a diagnostic visit and bring my car in. I wasn't going to do this, and had to drive around with no AC in my car for the next week while figuring this out. I also got a quote for repair work from another company that came out to around $1,600.00. I thought this was bull#$% and called Nissan Sunnyvale. I spoke with NIck in the service department, and he simply asked for my Vi# and looked up my warranty online. He told me in fact I had the BEST warranty available for the car. Also he told me clearly and immediately that any problem with the AC including an entire replacement would be covered. That was all I wanted to know from the beginning. I brought my car in and they fixed it up, and I drove away. Since then I bring my car to them, and ask for Nick to help me out. I did have one snafu with Nissan Sunnyvale about two years later, but after I explained my issue to the management they took care of it and gave me a credit for some work that was done that wasn't explained to me properly. I strongly recommend working with Nick and James ( I think its James) at Nissan Sunnyvale. I STRONGLY recommend avoiding Nissan Stevens Creek. They clearly obfuscate simple information in order to get cars into their garage where they can start racking up charges. Also the sales staff walk around like a pack of Hyenas, and you get a general sense of being at a carnival where the entire staff treats the customers as "others" with a weird condescending attitude.

there is only one salesperson I want you to seek...PETER ONG. I sent out requests to 'all the Nissan Dealerships' in my local area. and only ONE salesperson responded. PETER ONG from Nissan Sunnyvale! Let me try and sum up my experience: EASY. the process was transparent from our first text to us agreeing on the price with a handshake. The entire experience as well as PETER ONG was (1) Professional (2) stress-free (3) SIMPLE. 2 hrs later- I drove away with my vehicle. Lastly, I want to thank the Armando Estrada. I threw him a 'curve ball' - and he hit it! right out of the park! thanks Armando for all your help and information. I give NISSAN SUNNYVALE my highest recommendation!!
We just leased a Nissan Leaf. Peter Ong deserves a 5 five star for being super professional, knowledgeable and courteous! He made the whole leasing experience very pleasant for not being pushy. In contrast I am taking one star off for the finance guy. He was so pushy in selling the maintenance package to the extent of being rude! One more word from him and I would have dragged my husband out of there! Overall I would recommend this dealership.
Nissan Sunnyvale service department is excellent! I go a few times per year for help replacing the headlamp bulbs on my 22-year(!) old Sentra. The service advisors are always prompt and courteous. Today I pulled in 20 minutes before they closed. Jason and Mike came out immediately, greeted me warmly, and installed the replacement bulb. In less than 5 minutes I was on my way - problem solved! PS - don't make the mistake of thinking all Nissan locations are the same - I will never go back to the Stevens Creek, Santa Clara service department after having a horrible experience there last week. Not only were they inattentive to their customers, they wanted to charge technician time to change the headlamp bulb - ridiculous!
