Nissan Announces Changes to 2012 Model-Year Lineup

As David Bowie would say, there are some serious "cha-cha-changes" to Nissan's 2012 model-year lineup. The second-largest Japanese automaker announced their plans last week and Nissan Sunnyvale has been chomping at the bit ever since, wanting to share the news with you.

2012 Nissan Altima Sedan/Coupe

-    Sedan gains new Value Package, featuring Bluetooth, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, steering-wheel-mounted audio controls, and auto headlights
-    Coupe adds new exterior colors
-    Available now

2012 Nissan Armada

-    SV Driver Package gets new power liftgate
-    SL trim adds power liftgate and heated front seats
-    Platinum trim gains second-row heated seats
-    Available, starting this summer

2012 Nissan cube

-    1.8 S CVT gains new interior package, featuring a navigation system, backup camera, passive entry system, unique seat color, and enhanced stereo system
-    SL trim adds a standard passive entry system
-    S and SL trims both add a front armrest
-    Available, starting this winter

2012 Nissan Frontier

-    New Sport Appearance Package, showcasing darkened silver and metallic touches inside and out

-    All trims gain new Sport Mode switch and wheel designs
-    SL trim adds Around View monitoring
-    New Special Edition Package, featuring, steering-wheel mounted audio controls, backup camera, four-point-three-inch audio display, USB port, satellite radio, fog lights, and tinted glass
-    Available, starting this summer

2012 Nissan Murano

-    New Platinum Package, providing 20-inch wheels and navigation system

2012 Nissan Titan

It's clear to see, we have a lot to look forward to. Perhaps the only model in the lineup to remain unchanged is the 2012 Sentra, 2012 JUKE, 2012 Xterra, and 2012 370Z - all available, starting this fall. And, the shake-up goes beyond mere vehicle updates. Nissan is, in fact, also adding three new vehicles to their lineup!
